Who We Are
Afframsikpa Children Foundation is a non-profit organisation serving communities in Vakpo, Anfoega, Alavanyo, and Pakro, Ghana. We believe every child deserves quality education, good health, protection, and the opportunity to thrive.
Together with our partners, volunteers, and supporters, we are working to ensure that children and families have access to quality education, protection, healthcare, and opportunities for a better future. Your support helps create lasting change in communities across Ghana.

Strong communities create brighter futures for children. We empower young people, families, and community members through skills development, leadership opportunities, and sustainable initiatives that strengthen resilience and create lasting change.

Lasting impact is achieved through collaboration. We work alongside communities, schools, volunteers, local leaders, and our partners—Nesola – Nicht Allein e.V. in Germany and Volta Hope in Ghana and the United States—to expand opportunities for children and build sustainable solutions together.

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future. Through our partnership with Kate Memorial School (formerly Volta Hope Children’s Home), the Afframsikpa Children Foundation helps children overcome barriers to education by providing access to quality learning, educational resources, and a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Our work extends beyond the classroom. By coordinating international volunteers, strengthening educational programmes, and investing in children’s wellbeing, we empower young people with the knowledge, confidence, and life skills they need to build independent and successful futures. Every child we support represents a lasting investment in stronger families, resilient communities, and a more hopeful tomorrow.
Building Stronger Communities Together
Sustainable development begins with empowered communities. Across Vakpo, Anfoega, Alavanyo, and Pakro, the Afframsikpa Children Foundation works alongside local leaders, women, volunteers, and partners to create opportunities that improve children’s lives while strengthening the communities they call home.
From women-led livelihood initiatives and community infrastructure projects to volunteer programmes and child-centred development, our approach focuses on long-term, sustainable impact rather than short-term solutions. By promoting local leadership, encouraging community participation, and fostering meaningful partnerships, we are helping build communities where children are protected, families are empowered, and lasting change becomes possible.
